     The Whippoorwill's debut single Thin Man Blues from their brand new album was recorded at the Sound Emporium to tape using a Neve console during December of 2013. The Sound Emporium has done projects with legends like Willie Nelson, Robert Plant, Old Crow Medicine Show, Al Green, Yo-Yo Ma, Ray Stevens, Sheryl Crow, Taylor Swift, and Johnny Cash. Ryan Jackson plays guitar, Kevin Carter plays drums, and Heather Gray sings on the track. The Whippoorwills and Stuart Singleton produced the song with legendary Jason Mott engineering, mixing, and mastering the whole project.  Grammy nominated Jason Mott has worked with such artist as Beck, Metallica, The Whigs, Belle and Sebastian, Usher, Faith Hill as well as John Legend and helps take the Whippoorwills music to the next level of sound quality. The long awaited release of the song comes with a music video to launch Jeff Stiver's new company HouseLight Pictures.
